Many Bitrix24 tools work based on the company structure. For example, only managers can see the reports of their subordinates and the time they have worked for a certain period.

You can configure access permissions for employees to see only the information they need.

Company structure and access permissions

The company structure can be used to distribute rights within Bitrix24. Correct distribution of employees by departments will allow you to configure access permissions faster and easier.

Many sections have already preconfigured roles. Let’s consider how the company structure can help us configure access permissions on the Marketing department example.

If you have a lot of departments, you can select the My Company: Supervisors group and then all supervisors will have the same access permissions to the section.

Company supervisors

We will assign the Manager role to the Marketing department, as they work directly with mailings. Full access will be given to the account administrator.

So, we have configured access permissions for the Marketing section in a couple of minutes.

Manager

You can configure access permissions to other sections in the same way.

When completing the work report, the employee sends it to the supervisor for review.

If there is no supervisor in the structure, the report will be sent directly to the CEO. Therefore, it is important to assign supervisors to each department so that it does not distract the head of the company.

Company structure and tasks

The department supervisor has access to the Supervising tab in tasks. Here you can track the tasks of your subordinates.
