In the Write-offs section, you can manage write-offs and account for the loss of products. If you don’t write off such products, this may result in inventory mismanagement and distorted reports.

For example, some goods were damaged during delivery. You can enter this information into the system to correct balances in the warehouse.

To create a Write-off,

  1. Go to the Inventory management section.
  2. Open the Write-offs tab.
  3. Click the Create button.

Add the product, specify the quantity, and select the warehouse.

Specify why you decide to write off the product in the Reason for write-off field.

If you don’t see the field in the form, click the gear button and tick it in the list.

Save the document. You can also add a general comment with a reason for writing off.

Finally, process the document to update the information on inventory balances in stock.
