A sales pipeline, or a deal pipeline, is a set of stages in the Kanban view that help you track and manage deals.

Pipelines are great for organizing different areas of your business, like separating B2B and B2C sales. Also, you can have multiple pipelines for different departments, such as one for sales and another for production. This way, teams only see the deals relevant to their work. Configure access permissions and customize deal form views for each pipeline.

In this article, we’ll cover:

Configure stages in a deal pipeline

A new sales pipeline comes with eight default stages:

  1. New
  2. Create papers
  3. Invoice
  4. In progress
  5. Final invoice
  6. Deal won
  7. Deal lost
  8. Analyze failure

You can edit these stages or add new ones in several sections:

To add a stage, click on the plus (+) icon. To edit or delete a stage, click on the pencil. If you want to change the color of a stage, click on the pencil and then the fill icon.
